Fordham - Stips or no Stips?
Quick question for anyone who has some insight on this matter:
When Fordham doles out scholarships, do they normally come with stipulations that you must remain in a certain % of the class? If there are stips, are they more aimed at the lower or higher scholarships, or similar on all of them? I have heard that Cardozo places stips on their scholarships, but haven't heard much on Fordham.
Thanks!

Hi, current Fordham student here. The only stipulation Fordham places on any scholarships is that you remain in good academic standing, which is not really a stipulation at all. There are no class % requirements that must be met. Cardozo does place stipulations on many of their scholarships, however there are some that are full tuition with no stipulation if you have strong numbers relative to Cardozo's mean figures.Homer88 wrote:Quick question for anyone who has some insight on this matter:

Do any T25/T30 type schools place stips on their scholarships?

Beyond good academic standing or a 2.0 or a 2.5 requirement (basically failing out since these schools all curve at or above a 3.0)? The only one I can think of is Iowa, which places some extreme stips on their scholarships.ndirish2010 wrote:Do any T25/T30 type schools place stips on their scholarships?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't GWU place some pretty nasty stips on their scholarships?Bildungsroman wrote:Beyond good academic standing or a 2.0 or a 2.5 requirement (basically failing out since these schools all curve at or above a 3.0)? They place a 3.0 which is pretty decently below median, iirc. I wouldn't call it nasty at all.Bobeo wrote:Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't GWU place some pretty nasty stips on their scholarships?

I would call it nasty. I think any GPA stipulation above good academic standing or its equivalent is a rancid TTT move.bk187 wrote:They place a 3.0 which is pretty decently below median, iirc.
