I unexpectedly have to make a decision more or less right away between NYU and Georgetown for Asia/international law. My career will ideally include both the corporate/law firm world (initially...e.g., trade law), and also policy/government (depending on future opportunities).

If any of you can share your opinions and perspectives, I'd be most grateful!

I am a Georgetown alum, and would advise you to pick NYU given equal tuition. Georgetown is a great school and it worked out well for me, but the name of the game is maximizing your chances of biglaw.

Well, NYU will give you a better chance at biglaw, so that would be my recommendation.

NYU has this, but I'm not clear on how it plays into a standard JD: http://www.law.nyu.edu/llmjsd/llmsingapore/index.htm

But NYU beats GULC at equal money every single day of the week, no matter what you're looking to do.
