I already started a different thread about this, but did not add a poll.
First year free at Kent, second/third year contingent on grades.
Off waitlist at Iowa with sticker.
Want to work in the midwest, preferably Chicago.
The debt at Iowa is frightening ITE. The potential lack of job prospects out of Chi-Kent is as well. Is the higher rank worth it?

What are your stipulations at Kent? But I think in any case I'd probably take Kent even though neither of these options are even close to ideal.

You're really screwing yourself over by not retaking, especially with that GPA and the fact that you want to work in the Midwest. Full rides at WUSTL, IUIC, IU-B, Iowa, etc are all just a few points away.
But if you choose not to do that, sticker at Iowa is scary. Kent will at least place you in your preferred market if you find a job. Just be prepared to drop out if you lose that scholly.

Top 50%, $10,000
I agree. FWIW, I retook and totally bombed/canceled my score. I'm frustrated with where I'm at, but I also do feel lucky to have the full tuition scholly at Kent - other people with my numbers were getting like $10,000 grants.
