Choosing a Law School 2011
This is for all of those people who are confused where to go like me. Post the following and maybe some pretentious TSLer will tell you where you should go.
This thread is also intended for people who are beyond the retake option and are going to school in the fall.
1. Schools you have been admitted to
2. Scholarship money if any
3. where you want to work when you graduate
I'll start:
1. Brooklyn Law School and Santa Clara
2. N/A yet(wait list admit details come slower)
3. CA-Northern California
I am guessing the answer is Santa Clara and if I withdraw from Brooklyn on Monday I get my deposit money back.

I am consolidating freak outs(like the ones above) to a tidy thread, so that I do not have to expose my own personal freak out to the public in its own thread.

To answer your question, neither.

Between the two, Santa Clara is the only realistic option since you are committed to N. California. Santa Clara without a significant scholarship may not be a wise investment, however.

Even Santa Clara for absolutely free is probably not a wise investment considering only about 1/4 of their grads get full time jobs as lawyers (--LinkRemoved--).CanadianWolf wrote:Between the two, Santa Clara is the only realistic option since you are committed to N. The credited response between these two (other than the obligatory retake/reapply) is to give up hope on NorCal and accept your NYC fate at BLS.

The CA economy is terrible and it is reflected in those numbers. But there are multiple reasons why I cant live in New York.
But lets face it. At neither of these schools will you get work if you fall out side the top 15%. I do not really see the difference besides the fact that SCU costs much much less.

Reapply and go for some better T2s in CA at least. Santa Clara is super stingy with scholarship money and going there is probably a bad idea.
