Hell, even temporary jobs in doc review now require 5+ years of experience:

--LinkRemoved--

How do you intend to compete with the hoardes of admitted, experienced and unemployed/under-employed attorneys currently glutting the market? Do you think these doc-review boiler rooms will be impressed with your grades or law review articles? ROTFL!

Hell, the NJ AG has cut salaries to 0 dollars and is/are still flooded with applicants:

NJ Legal Aid slashing staff:

Still, as you said, most law grads are "doing fine."

Don't you know? The "requirements" reflected by one craigslist ad represent every single job in the entire country.

Seriously, arguing that the legal market is shit is not a difficult argument to make, and yet some still fail fucktastically.

The AG is still running the volunteer program, and the Legal Aid cuts have not been restored.

So your contributions to this forum are that:
1) Craigslist jobs can be shitty
2) In 2009 Legal aid jobs were cut
3) Schools misrepresent employment data

Am I missing anything here?

So much for my dream of working as a paid assistant at the NJ AG.

Then again, THE EXISTENCE OF ONE SHITTY JOB DOESN'T EXCLUDE THE EXISTENCE OF LESS-SHITTY JOBS.

Dood, it's gonna take about 6 lifetimes of doc review @ $25-$30 bucks an hour to pay off that boat. You're looking 75 K raw tution, plus NYC-area living expenses, so your boat is gonna be well north o' 100 K.

That's a helluva lot for a non Top 14 school with dubious Biglaw placement. Miss the biglaw boat and you're gonna be in some deep-doo-doo. These "midlaw" firms of which you speak generally want ex-Biglaw kids or those with portable business or 5+ years experience in a niche practice area.

That leaves doc review or working for some solo schmuck ambulance chaser in an outer borough for 35 K a year and no bennies.

Seems kinda risky brah.

Since you don't mind staying in NJ, Rutgers. Even if you did mind staying in NJ, Fordham at sticker is far too risky and I'd still say Rutgers.

Can we perma-ban your ass for lack of any meaningful contribution? In the event we can't, please leave. Now.

Do not ban him. He's actually hilarious, and a good writer. See topic:

http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 3&t=157855

It just sounds like he's really sour on law school, because he's had a rough time in the market.
