No poll? Georgetown would be my gut reaction because DC>>>>>>Ithaca.

OP's username plus tar is some weird shit. Good work. I think you're fine on either school. Good to consider waiting and retaking though.

But as a serious response: there are some hilariously shitty people at cornell but don't worry, they will graduate in your 1L year.

Chose Cornell over Gtown and other larger schools for reasons stated by others and haven't looked back. Also, I'm not sure what incoming 1Ls think they are getting themselves into exactly, but do you think you'll really be going out so much that you'll notice the difference between DC and Ithaca? If you have trouble saying no to going out, it might actually benefit you to be somewhere small where you aren't being pulled in a million different directions. Also, if you plan to practice in a big city, this might be your one chance to experience living in a small town - and if that city is NYC, there really is no networking-related downside to being in Ithaca.

You better pick quickly or they will both drop you as you are not suppose to hold deposits on more than one school past mid june. It is getting very late in the game to hold two deposits and it really isnt fair to other people on the waitlists. Pick one!

Re: Georgetown (21k) vs. Cornell (21k)
As an update, I decided to drop Georgetown and confirmed to Cornell that I'm attending there. There were pros and cons at both schools (class sizes, weather, things to do, etc). But I think going with the job prospects in the sector I'm interested in most (big law)..it seems Cornell has an advantage.

Congrats. That is an awesome predicament to have been in. Nice to see a fellow FSU undergrad making it all the way to Cornell -- good luck.

Thanks man. I didn't know there were other TLSers from FSU. Hope your cycle went (or is going) well.

Don't stop rooting for the 'Noles. Now wouldn't exactly be the best time to stop .
