Fordham with 15k per year or GW sticker

GW has a higher ranking and more well-known nationally, but Fordham has great regional rep and I believe does a bit better for NY BigLaw if I'm not mistaken. I do want BigLaw, but I'm also thinking eventually working at a government agency. They're both really great schools and would appreciate any thoughts to help me make my decision!

Oh also does anyone known how large the section sizes are for both schools? I remember when I visited Fordham they said the actual sections are pretty small, maybe 40-50 students? I'm sure it's much larger for GW no?

Thanks!

The COL is going to be about the same. NYC COL can be a bit overblown - it's more than every where else but not by as much as things lead you to believe if you don't shop for clothes here and don't eat out too much or buy drinks at bars.

160k of debt out of Fordham is not ideal, but I think more manageable than around 200 from GW.

From what I have read it seems that GW's BigLaw placement numbers are a bit skewed due to their heavy IP focus and the fact that people with IP backgrounds have an easier job obtaining jobs. That said, it really is a toss up between the 2 cities and whether you feel comfortable taking out more debt to live in DC.
