HELP. USC (sticker) vs. SMU (77k), practice in TX

Just got an admit call from USC. I was really set on going to SMU because I wanted to practice in Texas and none of my other offers had the right combo of job portability/prestige to really deter me from attending SMU. I was told on the phone that I would be receiving no scholarship offer at USC. That being said, I would have to take out some student loans in order to attend law school there and the cost of living in LA is no joke, of course. If I were to attend SMU, I would be attending with a sizable scholarship and my parents would pay for the rest. As much as I like Texas, I am not opposed to practicing elsewhere if it is a cool place (I'd say LA qualifies).
I greatly appreciate any input; I really don't know what to think right now.

SMU seems to be the better option for you based on your scholarship & on your substantial scholarship award. Congratulations !

Would y'all say the same if I were to instead say that location does not matter to me? That I really just want to maximize my chances of landing a job in BigLaw?

SMU places well in BigLaw. Do the intelligent thing and go where you have money.
