post deposit deadline submission

Post by lawyeriA » Sat May 21, 2011 4:30 pm

Any know of any prior history of someone ruling out a school with a scholarship and then wanting to go to it even though it's been a couple weeks past the deposit deadline. Any chance I can email the office and say I know it's been two weeks past the deadline, I made a mistake, and if you'll still have me with the scholarship I would love to join the incoming class. Any insight? (Top 35 school if it makes any difference)

You can always call them. There is no rule that says they can't take you, but it's likely that they already gave your scholarship to someone else who has accepted it. If they have money left and they still need your numbers, maybe they'll be interested.
