All things being equal, if you had to pick between Case, Pitt, or Villanova which one would you choose and why?

Two most important factors:

1. Cost.

2. Area you want to work.

I know you said everything is equal, but, what are to scholarship amounts, if any? Also, gotta know where you want to work and total debt coming from these 3.

If at sticker price the answer is none. Even with PA residency you still pay 26k and end up with six-figure debt so you have to say what you were offered.

Given 15,000 at Case 14,000 at Pitt, none so far at Villanova. I could see myself in Ohio or Pa, I'm from Western NY. I'm just wondering reputation wise, which is the best option. I feel like they are all equivalent schools, I just want to know if there is anything that puts one at the top of the pack?

I'd say Buffalo would be the better option for you. However, based off of these schools, I'd say Pitt. The 14k covers the OOS tuition difference and some more making it cheaper than Case. Villanova at sticker should never, ever be an option.

Alright, what's so bad about Villanova though, are the employment prospects really slim?

All the schools have similar employment prospects. Nova has to compete with Temple, Drexel, and couple Penn kids but it's a bigger market so that helps balance it out. Pitt only has to compete with Duquesne which isn't that fair a fight.

Basically all three have equal employment, but given the scholarships you listed, Nova is much too expensive. I'm biased because I went to Pitt, but between Case and Pitt I would take Pitt. I didn't like Case's campus and I would prefer Pittsburgh to Cleveland hands down. I suspect most people would agree with me. Go ahead and search Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland or Pitt v. Case, this is not the first time people have weighed in on this.

The answer is that Nova is too expensive which kicks it out, then you turn to which city you prefer. The answer is Pittsburgh, not the Mistake-on-the-Lake.

What if Villanova does give me money, in that situation, would it be the best option due to the size of the legal market surrounding it?

1) Pitt
2) Case Western Reserve

P.S. Northwood is offering the correct advice, in my opinion.

If you want Philly and the surrounding areas- go to Nova
If you want Pitt and the surrounding areas go to Pitt

If you want Cleveland- then go to Case

If you dont know where you want to go- check out each school then sleep on it for a day or 2

I grew up in Philly, went to UG in Pittsburgh, and have visited Cleveland. IMO:

Philly >>> Pittsburgh >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cleveland

But all things being equal, this is a decision you'll have to make for yourself. Philadelphia isn't the most vibrant American city, but it's significantly more cosmopolitan than Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is a pleasant town and has a lot to offer for its size at a very low cost. The people are friendlier and the culture is much more laid back. Cleveland... is Cleveland.
