You gotta read about this badassed lawyer!

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/l ... ll17m.html

From defending nearly impossible cases to being a college basketball rarity: a white boy from Washington state recruited by John Thompsen to play hoops at Georgetown...IN THE 1970'S!

John Thompsen recruited about five white boys in his entire time at Georgetown, and this guy wasn't even an All-American...but John Thompson wanted him.

He also debunks the theory that everyone should be chasing BigLaw. Truth is, the really badassed lawyers tend to work for themselves. He's proof that one should think for himself and carve out his own niche. While many of his clients are scumbags, they are sometimes very rich scumbags who have valid arguments under the law and the U.S. Constitution.

TBF, as a Willamette grad, his chances at big law were nonexistent to begin with.

I mean the guy is pretty cool but for people interested in other areas of law, biglaw works on the most interesting cases and can best prepare them for private practice.

I guess you're right. I just like the ballsiness of rebels who do it their own way. You have to respect that. But this post is uninteresting to most, so I will let it die.

Glad he's out there fighting against the "propensity evidence" law...as described it sounds like utter bullshit.
