Top Law Schools

Hey everyone,

I've narrowed it down to Hofstra and Albany. They've both given me substantial scholarships. I can't decide where to go. I want to practice public interest and/or labor and employment law in downstate New York. Thanks in advance for your help.

P.S. I'm not retaking the LSAT and I'm not going to reevaluate my decision to go to law school.

what are the stips for each? does the hofstra one include cost of attendance? Which school do you like and feel more comfortable at?

Stips are top 50% for Albany and top 40% for Hofstra. I'm from the Albany area so I'm comfortable there but I visited Hofstra recently and felt comfortable there as well. They each have their pros and cons, obviously - facilities at Albany are nicer and classes are smaller, but I feel like there are more opportunities at Hofstra. But because Hofstra is larger, I sense there's more competition for those opportunities. This is why I'm stuck - so if you or anyone else has any thoughts on the subject I'd really appreciate it.

EDIT: After consideration of scholarship, each would cost me less than $10,000 for tuition per year

top 50 is better than top 40. Long Island is very expensive to live. If i were you- id go with albany. Dont worry about competition- just focus onyourself and do the best you can
