Help! WashU (COA=75) vs IUB (COA=40)
Minimal previous debt, strong connections to the St Louis area... I want to end up at either Chicago or StL. I'm not set on Biglaw by any means, and I think I would be happy going to either. I've visited both schools and been rather impressed; my impression is that WashU places better but costs more. Is the 35 grand over three years worth it? Am I not TLS material because I think I might enjoy midlaw? Will the Cardinals ever be good again?

Wait...you want to end up in Chicago or St. Louis....but you are actually still considering IUB?elephante wrote:Minimal previous debt, strong connections to the St Louis area... How did you do on the logic part of the LSAT?
(just kidding)
Even if you said, I want Chicago or St. Louis and the only mid-west school I got into was IUB and they gave me a full ride....I would say, retake and reapply or wait a cycle.
(enjoy WashU)
