UIUC vs. IUB vs. UGA vs. Alabama
Story Behind this one- I don't need to be incredibly wealthy, but, at the same time would hate to look back and think I shortchanged myself by settling for a lower law school. Looking to go into Big/mid law or get a clerkship upon graduation.
Regional Preference-I'm from the northeast so everything would be a trip a bit away from home. I've visited all these schools and think I could be happy at any one. They are all college towns with big student populations. Looking for a place that I would enjoy living as a student as much as anyone enjoys law school. I do prefer warm weather though.
Money Issues/ COA of each school-
100k UIUC
90k UGA
70k IUB
65k Alabama
I realize my best job prospects would be probably at UIUC, but I'm not a huge fan of the cold. Should I just suck it up and go there or explore one of the other 3 and just bust ass to get a good gig after i graduate?

I voted Alabama. Lowest COA and weather seems to be a huge factor for you. Alabama will open doors throughout the south. But if you want to make it back to the northeast, you'll have a difficult time. However, you did mention biglaw and I doubt you'll get that from Alabama.

Do Bama and UGA have scholarship stipulations?
If any one has a scholarship stipulation, rule it out immediately.
Outside of that, from any of those schools you're most likely going to end up in their home market, so you should go to the school in the area where you most want to practice.
Congrats on a solid cycle.

UGA.
It will open more doors in the South than Alabama will (due to having stronger access to a larger legal market in Atlanta). Also, UGA's big law numbers are better than Alabama and the clerkship numbers are slightly better than Bama as well.
Plus, I happen to think that Athens is worlds better than Tuscaloosa.

Unless you want Alabama or Indiana, neither of those schools should be in the equation.
If you want Georgia, even if it is outside Atlanta, go to UGA.
If you want Illinois, even if it is outside Chicago, go to UIUC.
