Thoughts on this? If you've put down multiple deposits or get off a WL somewhere? Ok to just email?

I just emailed them and politely told them I was attending somewhere else. If you really developed a bond with the admissions people then maybe you tell them on the phone but it's not like breaking up with a girl. You can do it over email.
