Degrees with Most Financial Value

Postby Pricer » Wed Mar 30, 2011 2:46 pm

http://www.usnews.com/education/best-gr ... graduation

I like to see UGA and GA State on the list (I'm from GA, went to UGA undergrad), and I like to see UT make the list (top choice for law school). After going through the info, though, I think this is basically bullshit.

No SULC grad below top 10% is going to get $100k. That is market in NOLA, but they are competing with Tulane, LSU, and Loyola NO. Also, it has UGA's median salary listed as $130k. That is market for Atlanta, but how many UGA grads actually make market in Atlanta? Top 20%? I think this study is very misleading (and probably incorrect).

Wow--the title of that article is misleading and irresponsible, plus the rankings are based on the infamous bs inflated salary statistics.
