Do you want to work in the SE or do you want access to all markets?
Are you debt averse?
What kinda work do you want?
Big East or ACC?

Do you want to practice in NC? If so, go to UNC. If you want to do anything else, go to GULC.

I don't know - I want a life outside the law so probably not 80 hour work weeks

Go to UNC---if you are at all concerned about work life balance than no BigLaw and therefore minimize debt.
Isn't UNC filthy cheap instate too? Plus CoL is super super high around GTown---when I interviewed for a PhD program there I saw people renting at around 900-1000 a month---with a roommate. Because of CoL, the stipend wasn't the usual 24k a year, but something like 33-34k

I'm a Tar Heel born, I'm a Tar Heel bred, and when I die I'll be a Tar Heel dead...as a lifelong Duke fan, that was extremely hard to type, but seriously, go to Carolina.
