Emory vs Cornell vs Columbia

Post by drummerboy » Wed Mar 23, 2011 3:10 pm

Emory $ vs Columbia( no scholly) vs Cornell (no scholly) Wish to stay in Southeast. Would like to, at least, have Big Law as an option. I have strong family ties in Florida. I have added a poll below. Thanks for your thoughtful input.

Barring a huge scholly from Cornell Columbia is the obvious choice

+1 Emory and Cornell shouldn't even be options baring 1/2 tuition scholarship from Cornell, which IMO would make this a debate.

Didn't Emory get closed down for being TTT after the new rankings came out? I'm not sure thats a choice anymore.

I guess my concern is that I really just want the SE/ FL and Emory gives me a great opportunity. Despite the obvious ranking difference, is the extra Tuition to Columbia/ Cornell really worth it?
