Congratulations on two excellent options! Either choice is great, but BU with no debt is better in my humble opinion. :)

This feedback is great. Seems like I was right to be split on this decision!

Keep voting TLSers...no need to comment if you do not want to.

If I were you I would go to BU no question. That is a lot of money to leave on the table when your job prospects likely wont be much better coming from Cornell.

Wow. It is even more lolworthy that OP thinks top 20% is assured when they have a 3.3 and 155 LSAT.

You know this is some of the more ignorant mess people say on TLS when I am honestly asking for some insight into my situation. My most recent LSAT is a 160, but that's besides the point, you are a pretty pathetic person trying to belittle someone via the internet. Hope it makes you feel bigger though.

Thank you elm for making me confident that I won't be in the bottom 20%.

I'm torn- on the one hand, I want to free up more funds for myself at Cornell. On the other, I want more stupid people to bring me up on the curve. Decisions decisions...

Stupid=A full ride at BU w/ a stipend and 90K at Cornell? Did writing that make you feel better about yourself? Either way, I will enjoying my $$$ from either school. I hope you got your jollies off trying to bring me down via the internet tough guy!

I was mostly joining in on the "I'm sure I can get top 20%" mocking. You have two great options- personally Id take BU in that situation, but I'm not in that situation and you are, and you're not me. Do whatever works for you.

Cornell with 90k is great, but nothing beats a free ride and living expenses. :)

An ivy league degree and a biglaw job at graduation beats it. lol.

Debt free is the way to be. You wouldn't owe a penny to anyone, would get a degree from a great school, and enjoy life in an amazing city.

I'm getting cold feet about BU for some reason...maybe it's because I have yet to visit Cornell. I think I will know after the ASW and they said they will adjust my package (no pun intended!).

I'm unconvinced that Cornell is worth extra $110,000 for a 10-15 percent larger shot at biglaw.

Credited.

Though bk1 is being a bit harsh when making his point, his point is still valid and he is providing exactly the kind of insight you've been asking for. The amount of information you have at present to predict your rank at a top school years from now is negligible, and should not even be a consideration when making your decision. Your confidence in your own drive and "craziness" when it comes to grades - though admirable - means little if you don't compare it to the company you're going to be keeping at BU/Cornell for three years (which you can't really do since you're not in school yet...)

Congrats on your offers and schollies, I hope you make the decision that's right for you.

Well i hope they buck up for you! you deserve it. 90K is enough to bring me to Cornell. That prestige, i think means alot to me. For how hard I worked in undergrad, nah, I'm gonna take it and run with it. Plus it is still a 60% tuition scholarship which is HUGE considering the average grant they offer people is 14,500. lol so we're getting twice as much.
For a T14, you can't go wrong.

Today I officially turned down my first full ride + stipend offer at Iowa. Really really difficult decision, but it has to be made!! good luck bro, you will be great no matter where you chose! But if you do choose Cornell, we can be buddies! ;)

After visiting Cornell and loving it, I am much more torn than before. I really like BU, and love the money and stipend they are giving me. I have 3 days to hash this out.
