Wake Forest, American, or Maryland?

Postby WilRO » Tue Feb 22, 2011 10:16 pm

What school would you pick if you were in my shoes, and why?

Please consider the following:
1. You want to practice in Northern VA/DC after graduation
2. You're interested in immigration law and personal injury
3. Cost differences between the schools are basically negligible

Thank you all for your feedback.

Wake Forest if you don't mind North Carolina as a backup (overall employment prospects are a decent bit better there than American and Maryland).

Also: No GMU or W&M/W&L?

If you want to practice in Nova or DC then definitely go to Maryland, you will be closer to the area so you can network with people, go to job interviews, do summer internships without moving around too much. Plus Winston-Salem just seems too boring and too bible belt.

If only DC/NOVA, it almost has to be American. If you're open to NC, then Wake.

American if you have an interest in Govt/PI work.
Maryland if in-state
Wake forest if neither
