I mean . . . its really important. If we have a consistently higher bar passage rate than most other schools in Cali one would think we're equipping students to pass the Cali bar better than that of other schools. You kinda need to pass the bar.
Worst. Metric. Ever. So, if you went to Hastings, you would have a worse chance of passing the bar?

The responses in the poll are heavily leaning towards GW, but everyone who has actually posted their opinion has suggested schools besides GW. Can anyone describe to me why they feel GW might be the best choice?

This is because many people on TLS rely solely on USNEWS rankings. According to this school of thought, you should go to the highest ranked school, regardless of the consequences to your law school experience and career. Obviously, rankings have their limitations, particularly when you have regional preferences. It really comes down to whether you are mature enough to make the right decision.
