I'm in the exact same place dude. I'd prefer to go to UGA but idk if living preference can justify me spending 50k especially when i don't have ties to either.

Same. 50k is a nice chunk of change but it seems like IU might just provide a tad lower employment opportunities...

I like UGA in this scenario. You already love Atlanta so the great job prospects UGA will provide in that city shouldn't be overlooked. I assume IU-b would lead you to St. Louis or Chicago. Would you like St. Louis as much as Atlanta? Keep in mind Atlanta surely has a bigger legal market. As for your chances in Chicago, well, we know how that goes. NU, UC, ND, UI, Kent, Loyola, UW, and the list goes on. I think you could do well there of course from a strong school like UI-B, but the competition will be fierce for the best jobs.

I am literally in the same boat. except with 105 at IUb. i'm leaning towards Minnesota as I went to UGA for undergrad and am pretty sure I could come back to Atlanta to work after growing up here. I'm leaning towards Minnesota because it opens up a new job market (better than IUb) in the midwest and has a few connections elsewhere. Are you going to Minnesota's ASW?

Indiana because you will have less financial pressure. Georgia if you really are set on working in Atlanta. Minnesota if you are open to living & freezing in the Twin Cities area--which is a very socially liberal area, if that matters to you.

you didn't get a decision from WUSTL yet? I can't remember what your numbers are, but if its a 169 or 170 prolly expect 20k a year. I actually got less money at IUB, rejected at minnesota, but 20k from WUSTL (I also got waitlisted at Wake Forest, which I also found funny). Congrats on actually getting into a good school in your region, I'm from the northeast and my options are the midwest or the midwest. IUB does not place well in biglaw which is the only stat I know of, and I wish the rest of their employment statistics were known. If you like lakes, snow, strange ideals, and healthy living, you should consider a visit to minnesota. IF you get into WUSTL it'll be interesting. I do not know what the culture is like, but I am thinking it might be a gunner's paradise for its prolly filled with extremely intelligent kids in the midwest who got near full rides, and splitters from everywhere gunning for the top 20 percent of the class for biglaw. IUB is also going to be filled with splitters, but with the cost of attending low, people may not feel the pressure. And WUSTL's splitters have better numbers, and for some reason I am a little intimidated with a class filled with people who got the same LSAT or higher than me, where in IUB, most of the people did the same or worse.

Just wait on the last two schools.
