Firemed, because (jonny's not worth dealing with). Don't misunderstand, earning my respect can just be on the nature of your experience. What I meant was you could've been a drunkard for 7 years and then just regained some semblance of yourself. That guy isn't at the top of my people to listen to. I know he can tell me just how far one can fall, but...you get the point...you seem like a smart guy/girl. I wasn't on some holier-than-thou. I jeez...if I thought I knew everything I would never ask questions. But lecture sounds like when you tell your son junior why he's fucking up. Would you allow the person you met through e-harmony (I got that right) to be your spirtual guide LOL. It's all good man...I think we misunderstood each other.

Dude, I have said what I have to say. People either listen or they don't. Maybe it is the nature of my current profession, maybe because I am a father, some combination of the above, whatever... I just say what I think and move on.
Summary: Older people being in class can be an advantage. If you want to go to LS and make friends you are going to LS for the wrong reason. That is all. Done. Not discussing it again.

Seriously though, you are going to find plenty of people your age. Just avoid Northwestern and move on.

... which is why so many of us "oldies" rode his ass for it. Seriously, by the time a person is applying to LS they should be passed this. What the 22-year-olds need to remember is that it's US, the older folks, not THEM who will be in the minority in LS.... as I believe someone noted above.
