Why was Rutgers your "number one choice to begin with"? Because you want to practice in NJ? Because you think it places the best? Because you qualify for the resident tuition? Because they have a program you like?

I ask because Rutgers is not the highest ranked school you applied to and the city of Newark is a big minus. Doesn't seem like a no-brainer to me in the abstract.
