UT or Fordham?

So far, these are the only two schools I have been admitted to. Obviously, things may change if I am admitted to other schools. But let's say I only have these two schools to choose from.
I am primarily interested in working in NYC or DC post graduation, but I am not opposed to working in Texas for a few years either. I am also strongly interested in clerking (which UT seems to be quite strong in). While I may work for a firm for a few years or clerk, my long term goal is definitely government or politics.
I really dont have any strong interest in attending fordham, as I have lived in NYC my whole life and would like to experience something different while in law school. I have a 30,000 scholly at fordham (10k/year), but with the cost of living differences, the scholly doesnt really save me anything.
I know UT is the better school and should open up more doors for me (especially in govt work - i would think), but would I be stupid to pass up fordham considering it is actually in NYC?
Thanks.
