I suppose you could say the same thing about most places. The administration is basically stealing from the below-median students at 90% of our law schools.

I just figured it might do more good than trying to get a school already in operation to close haha.. It's more for self satisfaction than anything.. and of course my hopes for a response e-mail to post here

This was way too long in coming. The UK's Law Society published a warning of its own volition on this topic years ago. The ABA only did this after years of pressure and the embarrassment of new law schools opening while most young lawyers remain unemployed.

sadly true.. most people I'm in undergrad with right now just want to get an LSAT high enough to go to the local state law school which is a Tier 3.. nothing wrong with it, except that many don't know that they will come out jobless or with a job that pays poorly

Of course titcr. Far too little, far too late. If the ABA could shut down 150 law schools, or even 50, this would mean something. As is, the effect will be almost zero.

That would depend on where in the T-17 we are talking. Top half I would say yes, bottom half would require a good scholly.

I just don't see going to one of the the top 10% of all institutions in any profession being such a bad idea.

I generally agree with this sentiment. It pretty much takes a full tuition (or close to it) scholarship anywhere else to be a reasonable financial decision.

Currently unknown except for booking one midterm (that counted for half of the semester grade). If I'm not top 10%-20% at the end of the year, I'll leave.
