So, you are pretty much saying no lower than the t-14.

Some people have been saying that GC only send approx. 30% of their class into BigLaw. Any percentage below that is not worth it?

Postulating like this is pointless, but if you were dead set on BigLaw then 1-14 give you a shot worth taking. UT for Texas BigLaw is a possibility. Vandy places alright, but by no means is a guarantee. If you want a guarantee then don't go below Yale.

Hypothetical post is hypothetical. For a school as good as Fordham, I'd pick a secondary market that I wanted to work in and go to something in the Indiana Bloomington or Arizona State universe.

I guess I have to remember the context of the conversation. But Biglaw or bust is a false dialectic to me.

I've heard increasing mention of T10. This recession has really separated the sheep from the goats and though Northwestern is killing it, as usual, GULC and Cornell are starting to act like other T20s and Vandy, UCLA and UT Austin are starting to act like lower T14s. The denomination of T14 means less than it once did.

I'd say if you're looking for a prestigious school to namedrop at social gatherings, Cornell and GULC still have great lay prestige. However, if you're looking for a hegemon that can take you wherever you want to go, sticker at T10 and especially T3 becomes absolutely worth it. Some of the lower T14s, not so much - just because the average person watching Seinfeld doesn't know the ins and outs of law school doesn't mean the same is true of hiring committees. Otherwise, make your decision intelligently. If you want to work in San Diego, don't go to GULC, go to UCLA. If you want to work in Houston, don't go to Cornell, go to UT.

Assuming that you would only have to take out 50k - 75k in loans, what is the lowest ranked law school you would go to if you wanted BigLaw? Would you go to Duke or Cornell if accepted? Vanderbilt or BU?
