Yeah, and lose the job in a heartbeat....firms want attorney's who can actually win cases. They're not going to keep someone just because they came from a T-14 school...

The was an article in the latest national jurist magazine (I think) that provided evidence that T-14 degrees lose value over time rather than gain value. I think this is true - think about it. People choose law schools based on the initial job prospects.

Essentially, you are both right. On one hand, around half of so partners at major firms came from the T-14. On the other hand, the top firms take so many T-14 students that there is no question in the mind of anyone that a decent portion of that group will make partner.
