16/15

I only paid for Iowa. And I had a fee waiver there, but I would have had to re-fill out the app on their own site. It was one of my last apps, and I was running low on patience, so I just pressed submit and paid.

You can use your Iowa fee waiver through LSAC. :(

I called Iowa to ask and she told me the only way for me to apply for free was through their own site!

How strange, that's definitely not the case.

Regardless, only dropping $60 dollars to apply to 16 schools isn't so bad. (Well you know.... plus the $12x16. Thanks, LSAC). It's pretty impressive how many schools will hand over a fee waiver if you just ask.

Semi-related: I'm getting a TON of fee waivers all of a sudden. I didn't even take the Dec LSAT, but since the Dec scores come out I've gotten like 10.

I'd love me some retroactive fee waivers...

Schools just want more people to apply to increase their selectivity. (Not that you're unqualified, but I suspect many are.)

I'm getting the itch to apply again now. Lol. I might just do the 3 I have from the T-14. But I feel like (a) I've already submitted an excessive number of apps, (b) my chances of getting in this late in the cycle are slim to none, and (c) my chances of getting $$ applying this late in the cycle are zero.

Yep. And if they're gonna play that game, so am I... by making them read my app and not even giving them my $75 for their time. Lol.

I personally couldn't stand waiting on any more decisions... I wouldn't mind some app fee refunds though ;)

agreed, it's hard to believe I'm still waiting on THIRTEEN schools. It would be strange if that number were even higher.

how many schools have you allready mentally eliminated from contention? I applied to 17, but after further review, there are only 8 that I would seriously consider attending. 9 of the schools will be auto rejects by me!

(I had to look at LSN to easily see where all I applied at this point....) I actually think I would attend any of the schools I applied to (except the one that YPed me), depending on $$$ of course. I prefer 9 of them I suppose.

2/21... Both admits though :)

In response to Northwood, I go back and forth between eliminated or not lol... Probably
Solidly eliminated at least 4-5. But, I really do want to see what happens, because I applied to them all for certain reasons :)

I also applied to them, and at the time of submission would seriously consider going there. If there is a big rash of rejections, or one of them offers some serious money, then they would be back on the board. However, all things being equal, my personal( applies to Northwood only) law school ranking system has said school not in the top 8. It can change with a packet however.
