Thoughts on Notre Dame?
I understand that US News has Notre Dame at roughly 23rd. Nevertheless, I like much of what I read about the law school. Thoughts on Notre Dame anyone?

Is notre Dame on the rise? Or will it likely stay very still in its standings? Anyone think it will break the top20?

I think it's feasible that it could move up to 20, and I don't think it'll drop out of the top 30. Rankings can be fickle, though, and difficult to predict. What Notre Dame really has going for it is its loyal alumni base and extremely strong brand.AssumptionRequired wrote:Is notre Dame on the rise? Or will it likely stay very still in its standings? Why not? It makes about as much sense as ranking Minnesota/Iowa/Indiana above BC/Fordham.AssumptionRequired wrote: Anyone think it will break the top20?

nd is in the same range as wustl/emory/bc..
however i think out of all the schools in that range, ND has the most layman prestige.

Why do people here always talk about layman prestige. Who cares about that? Its not the opinion of people you are trying to get jobs from.... doesnt make sense to methexfactor wrote:nd is in the same range as wustl/emory/bc..

There's a thread somewhere on TLS about Notre Dame's extremely dire OCI results. I would check that out before caring about meaningless movements in rankings.
