When people ask whether or not they have a shot at the T13, it makes sense, because there is a difference between these schools and the rest. However, there is no difference between a school ranked 45 and a school ranked 75. I think most on TLS would agree with this.

Edit: Accidentally wrote "T14" instead of "T13."
You must live under a bridge because that is some epic Gtown trolling.
You must live under a rock, because it's been T13 since last year.
That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

How do you have 500 posts and still don't know that it's been changed to T13. In fact, some people even wanted GeorgeTTTown to be known as GeorgeTTTTown.

I get the joke. I've seen it a million times. I remember one of the threads. Its nonsensical. The T14 has nothing to do with placement statistics. Its called the T14 because none of the schools have been placed out of the top 14 in the rankings since they were first released. Well, every school except one.... Cornell. So if you want to change it to the T13, you're excluding the wrong school. I'm just preaching to a bunch of trolls though so whatever.

Is that a serious question, or are you being sarcastic?

at the same price points, no they are not the same schools. If you are talking UF @ 2x the price of Miami then of course go to Miami.

It matters in-region, but not out of it.

This.

For instance, there is no difference between U of Arkansas and U of Florida.

except location... Unless you are going to a very select handful of schools, you should seriously consider where you want to work after school.
