a) 70-90K + Bonus and Benefits.(Montreal Midlaw and BigLaw both start at this point, market isn't so saturated here and cost of studies are relatively low, so most don't have debt + Montreal is an amazing city, look it up)

b) Assuming i make partner in a few years, i'll make anywhere between 200,000-3,000,000 but at the cost of shittier lifestyle and more risks.(Once you hit Senior Partner.)
If i go in-house, i'll make anywhere between 100,000 for a simple position to 250,000 for good one all with good lifestyle.

Thanks! I am doing a MPA right now even though I make more part-time than median salary for grads of the program. I really just enjoy the program and what I am learning.

Same deal with law. I have a genuine desire to learn in the area of the law I am passionate about, and I want to practice in a way to contribute to the world - I guess by helping to define and refine a legal framework in the emerging technologies. (Damn should have wrote this on my PS lol )

Hehe, one quick advice, do not trust Law School's statistics, many are biased.
To maximize your chances in this market, try networking as much as you can, sometimes it doesn't hurt
to work a few years and go back to a top school for an MBA or break into career days reserved for their students and promote yor business and skills. (You want solo practice ? You'll need friends.)

I know this, one of the reasons why I chose my program. Penn has awesome alumni base in the area. I am also going to do a certificate at Wharton before I am done (can use as electives) so I will definitely network there.

That's why I am going to struggle with the choice of higher ranked school or less cost, because I definitely know the value of 3 years at some schools (outside of classroom) than others.

I'll then ask for the court to award 30 mil in punitive damages and rake 33% of that and live somewhere on the coast of Spain or France.

First Year: after admission to the bar: 65k plus bonus.
Second Year: At the 1-year anniversary of my admission: 70K plus bonus
Second Year: At the 1-year and 6 month anniversary of my admission: Offered 80K plus bonus (declined offer and left firm)
Second Year: At the 1-year and 6 month anniversary of my admission: Accepted an offer of 80k plus bonus with all medical benefits, bar costs and expenses paid, plus free laptop, etc at a small firm.

Hope to earn over 100k within the next 2 to 3 years.

Hope to earn 175k to 300k at peak of career (from law practice).

100k salary, 100M bonus
