Top Law Schools

Any ideas if (and where) a full ride or nearly full ride could be found in CA with 3.2 GPA & 175 LSAT? Average softs.

Assuming you desire a school with a decent employment outcome history, I'd say Loyola and USC may provide half to full tuition depending on softs. There are additional schools in state which will most likely offer full tuition, such as Chapman, but the employment outcomes are not that impressive.

USC seems like I'd only have an average shot at even getting in. Do they give out a lot of scholarships?

Apply, but I don't think you're terribly competitive for the Rothman (full scholly at USC) with that GPA. Unfortunately you're in a weird spot, because the only other good non-T14 schools in CA (UCLA, Davis, Hastings) don't give out much merit aid. The one wildcard where you might be in luck is UCI, but of course you're trusting in a pretty unknown law school at this point when you cast your lot in with them.

Consider looking at schools outside of CA in a range where you might very well get some $ (think Vandy to BU-ish). If you have ties to CA and do well academically, you can still end up working here with some legwork.
