T-14 and LSAT

Post by redsoxfan77 » Wed Sep 15, 2010 7:39 pm

I am looking for information about which schools tend to favor the LSAT grade over the UGPA among the top 14 schools.

Thanks!

Northwestern also seems to prefer high LSATs rather than high GPAs.

cornell?

if you get a 175+, but your gpa is under 3, you likely won't be so hot at a t-14. your LSAT isn't a diamond in the rough anymore. i'd say apply all over, because it might be a bit unpredictable.

i know BOALT has a reputation for accepting high 160s with ridiculous GPA's, but if you had a 3.0 and 175 for example, i'd apply across the board from Columbia down. one might bite, and you can probably get a lot of fee waivers.

You will NOT get into Boalt with a 3.0 and a 175 absent some extraordinary background. This poster is a fool.

Northwestern is the best high LSAT splitter school if you wait a year or two after UG to apply. Penn also likes high LSAT, but not as extreme of splitters.

edit: Oh, it's that Ave Maria dude. Nevermind.
