Might as well go UVA. They give you a response in two weeks. Also, they have a better school.

All else equal, Virginia.

If you HATE cities, definitely Virginia.

If you HATE not living in a city, then consider GULC.

If you hate college towns (although calling Cville a college town is probably unfair), then consider GULC.

Well, I think your numbers are the biggest indicator which way you should go here. So that would be helpful.

Seems unlikely either way but on LSN there are 2 greens (though exceptional situations both) at his numbers for UVa and only 2 yellows for GULC.

I would say both, do UVa first. After 15 days get your response then if it doesn't work out do GULC.

Oops, didn't look at his profile.

Well, you could do NYU but you are very unlikely to get in no matter what. UVA, Michigan, and Duke are all ok shots RD, but you could also be shut out of all of them RD. You'll get into Cornell though. If I were you, and I didn't care much about paying sticker at a t14, i'd ED to Penn probably.

Meh. UVA and Duke both have medians at 170 and ~3.8 so that might be a stretch. Michigan is probably more likely.

You have a decent shot at every 7-14 that offers ED, except possibly NU w/o WE, so just pick your favorite.

OP if you write a good PS and apply ED soon you have a very good shot at UVA.

A more general question regarding ED's...

based on the responses I've seen on here with respect to one's chances at ED...is it pretty safe to say that you are competitive for ED if you are above the 75% of LSAT (or GPA...shoutout to both conventional and reverse splitters)? Thanks

Definitely, especially at UVA. I'm not sure what c/o 2013's medians are at UVA, but for last cycle it was a 3.85. Find out what the median is and you'll probably get in ED if you're over it.

I see. I'm assuming the same applies for the LSAT as well? Which would mean that anyone over the 75% LSAT of 171 (taken from viewtopic.php?f=2&t=127748) is basically competitive for admission via ED?

Schools will often be willing to take people far below their 25th GPA, but they will very rarely take people that much below their 25th LSAT.
