Interested in litigation, want to stay east

Post by jwill89 » Mon Jun 28, 2010 4:08 pm

I'm in in the Southeast, and I'm competitive at all but probably the T4 or 5 schools. I'm looking to go no further west than Michigan. I'm really interested in litigation, possibly trying to be a federal prosecutor someday. I'm thinking one of the Virginia schools (UVa, Gtown, or GW) is the place to be to get funneled into DC, but I'm not sure. Anyone have any advice?

Apply to those, but also apply to Duke, Vanderbilt, and Penn. In fact, just apply everywhere really. No school "funnels" into DC, so I would not restrict yourself to the schools that are in close proximity to the city.
