Rankings aside...people have been telling me that my law degree from GULC (close location to NY, etc.,) would be more..."national"... transferable (easier to get a job abroad as well) while a degree from Northwestern would be "local," meaning restricted to Chicago. (also the difference in NU's IL Bar exam rate vs. GULC's NY Bar Exam) I know a lot of you will say both schools are great national schools, but if you JUST compare these two???
Is this true?

GULC may be slightly more national than NU, however NU is placing a larger percentage of their class into biglaw ITE, due to its smaller class size. So which one is more important to you, mobility or biglaw placement?
