Yeah, where exactly did I say that, Chief? I didn't even mention temperature/climate ANYWHERE.

I don't want to practice anywhere cold. I don't care where the school is, just so long as it has solid reach in a warm area. Reading is important, reading comprehension is key!

Poor trolling skills.

I didn't have Harvard numbers, and I only had to pay for one application. Fee waivers will be your friend.

With your criteria, I suggest that you...
1. Write the name of each T-14 on a slip of paper
2. Throw them in a hat.
3. Shake said hat.
4. Draw two.
5. Apply.

Thanks for being useless.

I'm not sure which is better between the two, but make sure you only chose one when you apply. If you apply to both, one school might get jealous.

I have a better process for him:

1. Actually look at the list of the T-14 and where they are located.
2. Realize that they all have at least some national reach.
3. Shut up and read the boards before asking stupid questions, then harassing people.

my story: i got into UVA, GULC and NU, no aid at any. NU told me I was screwed re aid. then, like, two weeks before my deposit was due at NU, GULC offered me aid. a lot. i told NU, and *BAM* $50k. which is more than $1k. by a decent amount. lessons: apply to the peer schools of your targets, and don't withdraw until the bitter end. doing otherwise would be "frivolous and irresponsible" since you know this is how law school aid negotiations works.

edit: i never wanted to go to GULC. the campus makes me hyperventilate from claustrophobia.

Good for you. That's not what i'm going to do, however. I plan on applying to schools I plan on attending for various personal reasons which include a S.O. applying to graduate schools where I am applying. I'm simply trying to get an answer; an attempt which apparently is lost.

I would not even apply to one if I were him, because neither Harvard nor UVA fit his ideals.

It's not that simply and you know it. Stop trying to act as if looking at a list/map will do the trick.

Applying everywhere brings me back to the SAME EXACT SPOT. Everyone insists on being an pompous jerk and refusing to answer the question directly. Thanks for you lack of help, i'm probably better of without it.

Considering that logical reasoning, reading comprehension, and good writing skills are important for law school, I suggest you rethink your decision to apply.

I apply to 20 schools, S.O. applies to 40. I'm not following your advice, get over it. That is not stupid, it's what's best for me.

I answered your question already many posts ago...

Your criteria:
1) Between Harvard and UVA
Okay that's Stanford, Columbia, UChicago, NYU, Berkeley, Duke, UPenn, UMichigan, Duke, Northwestern.
2) That lets you practice somewhere that's not cold afterwards.

You have just taken irrelevance to a new level. I understand that they all give me options, but which one gives me the BEST option. Is this THAT difficult to understand?

All the schools in the range you mention are not particularly known for placing into the regions you desire to practice. That being said I would definitely put Columbia and Chicago over NYU and Berkeley for the areas where you want to end up. Columbia and Chicago have a stronger nationwide reputation than NYU and Berkeley (really for where you want to practice UVA's rep is going to be at least as good as NYU and Boalt). Honestly for practicing in the south UVA + ties isn't going to be significantly outclassed by any schools except HYS. Basically Chicago and Columbia are the two schools you need to apply to in that range based off of your criteria.
