As a Penn grad, I can promise you that the job opportunities do not suck. I ended up with a COA clerkship and a V10 job offer. I had no L. Rev., and graduated cum laude (top 40%) and I certainly wasn't the only one. Further, Penn is really ramping up its facilities. However, the law school is already one of the most beautiful that I have seen, so I don't know where you heard that the facilities are poor.
