Irvine $$$ vs UCLA $
If you want to practice strictly in Southern California, and you get a full ride at Irvine and 10k at UCLA. You also don't care too much for biglaw jobs. What say you?

Re: Irvine $$$ vs UCLA $
What kind of employment do I see myself wanting after graduation?
If it is something I will be reasonably assured of getting from UCI, I go to UCI. If it is something I can't get from UCI but can get from UCLA, and will also allow me to pay off UCLA debt, I go to UCLA.
If it is neither of the above, I don't go to law school.

Congrats on the fullride! I am biased - I go to UCI because I am going there and withdrew my UCLA app without getting a response from them. But that's a personal choice to me. I can see going either way. But there is a lot to be said for no debt.UCLA1LHopeful wrote:If you want to practice strictly in Southern California, and you get a full ride at Irvine and 10k at UCLA. A guaranteed full ride can really ease the mind, and I have a feeling the second class out of UCI will still be in great shape job-wise for pretty much anything. I'm similarly biased, but I'd go UCI.
