Walking through Westwood on a Friday night is pretty surreal. I haven't been to USC or ASU, but I've seen women, and UCLA has women, not girls, women. For all the other reasons though, UCLA.

From somebody who goes to Cornell and loves it: UCLA. I would somewhat disagree that UCLA "beats" and I would certainly disagree that it "dominates" Cornell in California for somebody with ties to California. Once you establish your ties to the state, that will close any advantage that UCLA may have and you may have a slight advantage with firms who are looking for a diversity of schools. However, given your reasons for wanting to stay in Southern California, your desire to work there after graduation, and your great scholarship. . . go to UCLA.
