Don't mind the Midwest as long as it's a larger city.
Not committed to the Chicago market specifically but not against it either if that's how it ends up.
Thinking St. Louis after graduation; open to change
Interested in PI/gov't work; open to change
If you want Chicago, UIUC,.
Chicago isn't necessary but not wholly undesirable.

I posted this in my thread, but I'll post it here for some more input (even though I know some people here have an anti-GULC bias)...
Vanderbilt w/ $$
Cornell w/ $$
There's also Georgetown (probably at sticker, but with awesome LRAP for my government focus), but that one's not due until May. I'm trying to focus on the Cornell vs. Vandy question for now, and it's mostly coming down to intangibles. They're such completely different environments.

Yeah, $30K isn't worth the happiness/ ability to do well that is more important.webbylu87 wrote:

If your ambivalent between the two schools, then consider the $30k difference more.

I appreciate the advice but I'm not sure why retaking would be entirely beneficial for me. I'm in the 92nd percentile and pretty happy with my options. was just looking to see what others thought. I can't imagine waiting another year to start either

If I end up in government, DC. If I end up changing my mind and going into private practice, I have no preference on location.legalease9 wrote:Where do you want to practice?night06 wrote:I posted this in my thread, but I'll post it here for some more input (even though I know some people here have an anti-GULC bias)...
