Univeristy of Akron

Postby Creed Fan » Thu Apr 08, 2010 11:45 pm

Is there anyone who applied to Akron? If you visited, what did you think of it?

I applied before I visited and I thought the school was a bit run down. The students appeared to be a collective group of mouth-breathers and I just had a bad vibe about it. However, they gave me nearly a full ride. What is the group's opinion of Akron Law? Does anyone have any good views of it? Does it even compare to the other third tier school in the are, Cleveland-Marshall?

C-M is better regarded than Akron. Akron has sort of carved out a niche in IP thanks to the university's focus on the sciences, but I honestly believe Akron inflates their admissions numbers. Again, C-M is definitely better regarded than Akron, and it's even better than Toledo.

In Ohio it's:
Ohio State > Case/Cincy > Cleveland State > Everyone else
