GMU vs American vs Cardozo for Patent law

Postby ahp578 » Wed Apr 07, 2010 5:49 pm

I'm looking to go to law school for Patent Law. I'm stuck between George Mason (part time but would plan to transfer to full time), American University, and Cardozo (have not heard from them yet but if I do get in this will be one of my choices).

I think my ultimate goal would be to work for a big firm in NYC. GMU and American are ranked higher overall than Cardozo but are in the DC area, while Cardozo is ranked higher for Patent Law and located in NYC.

Any advice? I need to make a decision soon!

If you want to work in NYC go to Cardoza. American and Mason arent going to place that well in NYC.

Assuming you get accepted to Cardozo, it is clear that it is the right choice based on your situation.
