Scholarships at any? Do you have a debt wish? I guess, assuming you get the job you want, you can utilize IBR.

American and Mason are probably a bit better for Fed Gov't. Maryland is really more Maryland-centric, though they still do well in DC of course. At the same price, I guess it should just be whichever school you have gotten a better feel for.

By any chance are you In-state at Maryland or GMU? Go to the cheapest option.

Here are a few reasons why I chose to put down my deposit at American after my campus visit.

1. The professor during my visit (Vladeck) was the best prof I've seen in my 7 visits to various schools.
2. The current (and prospective) students that I met were diverse, interesting, engaging, and none that I met had any interest whatsoever in selling their soul to go "biglaw"
3. The campus was beautiful, the facilities were amazing, and the amount of windows in the building will help keep me sane
4. D.C. is amazing, where else would anyone possibly want to go to law school? p.s. I got into GMU as well, but reasons 1-3 were all very much lacking at GMU

HTH

Mason is known as one of the most conservative law schools in the country. Just thought I would throw that out there since it matters to some people, for better or for worse.

The cheapest (and hopefully that's Mason or American).

Also, if you are in state at Maryland, go to Maryland. It's a great school and can get you into DC if you preform well. Their tuition is dirt cheap, relatively, and they have a great facility (even though it is in Baltimore which can be shady) and the law school is within a block or two of Camden Yards which is great in the fall.

American is absurdly overpriced.

Mason is a great school but I have heard quite economics driven (as an influence on legal theory), so you may want to think about whether you like that aspect of the law. (Of course, the 1L I know who goes there may be overstating it, but it's what I have heard) Also, there is the conservative undertones.
