WashU vs Big 10 Schools Forum

Is there any real reason to choose Wash U over a Big 10 school (Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota, OSU) that you feel would be a better fit? In my case, this would be Wisconsin. Money would be about the same. Also, I don't mind doing some legwork if I feel the need to leave the midwest after graduation (I do have ties out east).

Have you visited? It's absolutely gorgeous, student-centric, and has a great staff.

I wouldn't try to jump a few spots for the highly ranked school if you're happy with Wisconsin.

+1, go with the school that you feel is the better fit. maybe you can use your wustl acceptance to negotiate more money at wisconsin.

FWIW, I'm in a similar boat, and I'll be choosing the Big 10 School (UMN, for me) over WUSTL. That is, unless Cornell shows me some love and makes the question a much easier one.
