60k Chicago v. 60k Penn v. near full ride Wisco

Post by JollyGreenGiant » Mon Mar 29, 2010 5:19 pm

I have pretty much made a decision (at least as much of a decision that could be made pre-visiting a couple of these), but I'm looking for 2nd and 3rd opinions. Soooo.. here we go:

1. Long long long term goals: Own my own law firm and teach part-time at a university
OR
Academia at a law school (though I know that is next to impossible right now)

2. Ideally I'd like to live in the Midwest because that is where everything I've ever known is.. but I'm flexible. All I need is an airport.

3. I'd like minimum debt, but I don't necessarily wanna have a ceiling on what I'm going to be doing the rest of my life.

This. You have essentially told us you have six dollars, and then asked us how much money you have. I'm not even sure you really think there is a choice to make here.

I doubt this is a flame, but you probably fooled a lot of people with that ridiculous poll.

Not a flame. I'm just trying to cover all my bases. People who know me know that I am relatively set on where I will end up next year. But if someone has a differing opinion, I am more than happy to hear about it.

If anything, this thread does reveal that sometimes people vote arbitrarily or in spite (the one person voting Wisc.). Though this might just in response to stupid polls. So we can't know much.
