Men at W&M: all hippies?

Postby megj999 » Tue Mar 23, 2010 2:32 am

Okay so there was a similar post about the women there that got a lot of grief, but coming from UVA I am curious, are the guys there mostly liberal hippies like the undergrad apparently is, or are there some fratty southern types too? I'm deciding between W&M, W&L and GW, so any thoughts on those would be appreciated too. Thanks!

As a fellow wahoo, I wish I could persuade you not to go to W&M, which is in one of the most boring places on earth. But hey, maybe your idea of a good time is Golden Corral all-you-can-eat.

How much $$ from GW? Did you only apply to DC/ VA schools?

W&M is neither a hippy haven (liberals maybe but not hippies) nor a place dominated by frat boys. It probably skews more to the frats than the hippies (it is where both the first non-Greek and the first Greek letter fraternity originated), but neither has an overwhelming presence on campus. The law school is separate from the main campus anyway.
