DC or Atlanta?!
I received a scholarship from Emory for 20k/year, sticker at GW. I like the school at Emory a bit more--beautiful campus, smaller size--but I love DC and I'm pretty sure I want to practice in either DC or California after law school. I visited Emory and wasn't crazy about Atlanta but then I didn't see much of it. Help! Money is definitely a factor, but not the determining one...

Emory will give you a slight shot at DC, and probably no real shot at California, but great access to Atlanta. GW gives you great access to DC, and probably no real shot at California.
If you can't see yourself living in Atlanta, pick GW. If you can, I'd pick Emory. It's (currently) ranked higher and you have more money. But I would completely understand turning down more money at a higher-ranked school b/c of the city. I am turning down 43k/year at WUSTL for 22k/year at Emory just b/c I disliked St. Louis that much.
