Re: Berkeley vs. Columbia
But I thought the whole point was to talk about 2nd and 3rd string quarterbacks who won a superbowl. Kurt Warner started the 1998 year as a 3rd string quarterback. I mean, once a 3rd string quarterback takes over a team and leads it to a super bowl, then he's basically no longer a 3rd string quarterback, reductio ad absurdum.$1.99 wrote:kurt warner still won the superbowl, i am talking about qb quality at their peak.
This whole law school/quarterback analogy was strained to begin with, but now it's completely broken down.

Superior(s)? Columbia, I'll give you that much, but I don't see a discussion about Chicago or HYS in this thread. Half the people at Boalttt don't even know what "IQ" means.Kronk wrote:UniversiTTTy of Michigan students don't belong in a conversation about their superiors, hth.fortissimo wrote:Yes, probably a Kronk alt.kittenmittons wrote:Flame?

80% of the people are from out of state, and out of those most are from new york (probably most common) and california...I guess they do have horrible accents.

No I'm just fairly unintelligent when posting on the internet. Nearly incoherent. The 20% you're leaving out is by far the worst. Midwestern accents make women have unquenchable appetites for weeks on end and do the whole world a large disservice.fortissimo wrote:"Have" lol. Not from the midwest but I haven't noticed it at all. I think the Jersey/Southern accents are the worst.Kronk wrote:The 20% you're leaving out is by far the worst. South is the worst region in all ways (weather, accents, culture).Kronk wrote:Eh that might be credited.fortissimo wrote:Not from the midwest but I haven't noticed it at all. I think the Jersey/Southern accents are the worst.
Bostonian accent is also annoying, as well as all the "engrish" accents you hear in Cali (going to get crap for this).

Re: Berkeley vs. Columbia
I don't mind furrener accents in CA but the South is pretty bad. I can't say I prefer the weather of the midwest or the northeast though. We can probably all admit that Colorado is the greatest region on the planet--devoid of accents, 290 days of sunlight, skiing, mountain biking, etc.fortissimo wrote:South is the worst region in all ways (weather, accents, culture).Kronk wrote:Eh that might be credited.fortissimo wrote:Not from the midwest but I haven't noticed it at all. Re: Berkeley vs. Columbia
ehhhh, Washington and Oregon are far above and beyond everywhere else. The Midwest/NE aren't nearly as humid as the South, and humidity is what makes it unbearable. Engrish is annoying when over half the people in the area speak it.Kronk wrote:I don't mind furrener accents in CA but the South is pretty bad. Bellevue, WA - best place to live in America.
Portland - #6
Seattle was voted best city in another rankings list which I am too lazy to look up.

Too much rain until you get east of the Cascades and there are no cities over there. Bend, OR, is pretty cool but too small.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
